Wilvo Nestaan Husqvarna Factory

HIMX are really pleased to announce they have signed up the Wilvo Nestaan Husqvarna Factory team to race at the Hawkstone International on the 8th February.

The team will be fielding two quality riders during the 2015 season consisting of top Australian star Dean Ferris and also Russian rider Aleksandr Tonkov for the 2015 season in the MX1 and MX2 classes respectively.

Dean Ferris missed several races during 2014 after sustaining an injury, when he made a welcome return to the GP’s he secured some strong and consistent results in the MX1 class.

Russian rider Tonkov had a very strong season in 2014 where he secured eighth in the World Standings in the MX2 class, he has changed teams for 2015 but remains on a Husqvarna, Hawkstone will be one of his first races of the season in preparation for the GP series which kicks off in Qatar in March.

HIMX – “This is great for us to secure such a high quality team to Hawkstone and we are very much looking forward to welcoming the team and hope they enjoy their time at the International. The line up is very strong this year and we are sure this will provide great racing on the 8th Feb.”

The support race for 2015 will be the opening round of the British Quad Championship.
